Automatic mass conversion of SNP planned orders to Process orders

Hello,

we currently convert our process orders from APO by following steps:

1. In RRP4 - select convert SNP orders.
2. Click Save.
3. Set conversion indicator.
4. Click Save.

This is a very tedious tasks and we would like to automate this.

Reading previous posts - I know this can somehow be achieved in transaction RRP7. However, I haven't been able to convert SNP orders (steps 1. and 2.) in RRP7 yet. Does mass conversion only apply in setting the conversion indicator?

You need to convert SNP orders intp PP/DS order first with //rrp_snp2ppds first and then use //rrp7 trans. to convert the orders.

Hi,

You can convert SNP Planned Orders to PPDS Planned orders in /SAPAPO/RRP_SNP2PPDS by using Heuristic SAP_SNP_SNGL

or SAP_SNP_MULTI.

Then you need to set the conversion indicator thru tcode /SAPAPO/RRP7.

Hi,

just had to maintain PP/DS-Horizons in the Product Master to RRP_SNP2PPDS to convert the orders. Seems to work now!

Hi Sam,

Try processing in RRP7 in background by putting the conversion indicator.

Once it is done, try running /sapapo/ccr for production/process

orders and iterate the results and check the status after

processing the queues.

You can try the same in /sapapo/rrp4 transaction which is very easier to

do it in change mode.

thanks for your reply.

We are currently processing orders in RRP4. We would like to automate this process as much as possible that is why we are considering RRP7. However, I haven't found a way to automatically convert SNP planned orders to PP orders in APO.
