What is diff btw PB00 & PBXX ?

Hi,

When you want Price is to be automatic in the PO you can PB00 condition type.If you want Price to be mannual is the PO, you can use PBXX condition type.You can check PB00 & PBXX condition types and see the difference ,as in PBOO assigned to access sequense,which play a great role for Price to be auomated in the PO.so PB00 is the condition type used for automatic pricing where as PBXX condition type is mostly used for manual pricing.

What do you mean By Auto & Manual.I have given PB00 & PBXX in schema.But PBXX is not coming.I have to manual enter PBXX,is this the difference?

PBXX is manual means ->You have to fill in the base value manually for the price.

PB00 is automatic -> It means that the price base value is automatically fetched through contract or info record.

In a pricing procedure either of the two is used.

Based on this base price lot many other dependent conditions are calculated. E.g. Discount could be 10% on base price.

What do you mean By Auto & Manual

Auto Pricing: When you enter vendor & material in the PO, the pricing is calculated if any condition record exist for material and vendor, then system will search for that condition record first through access sequence and pull the price of PB00 in the PO.

Manual Pricing: You can manually enter the price for PO( without condition record) with PBXX condition type.

PB00 is the condition type used for pricing is determined via access sequence but in case of condition type PBXX ,no access sequence involved.

HI,

Both of them are base condition type. However, while PB00 is taking defaulted value from purchasing master data and/or last PO price, PBXX keeps the pricing condition being maintained manually by the PO originator/creator.

ie if you are purchasing a material for the first time, the condition type PBXX for gross proce will be hit and you have to manually enter the gross price in the conditions tab in the PO.

But if u have a condition record for that particular combination for PB00 it will be picked. If you see in T.code M/06 , you can see that there will be acces sequence for PB00 and no acces sequence for PBXX, which means we will manually enter the condition value fpr PBXX.

That means....

PB00 -- Automatically comes from last PO and inforecords.

PBXX -- Manually maintained in PO, Inforecords etc
