Hi Gurus,
We have an issue with the MTO process.
Production order is generated automatically when the sales order is created.
So my user while creating a sales order, with out knowingly he entered different company code, production order is been generated and activities done to the production order. Activities like production confimration, goods issue and goods reciept is done to production order.
After they realised they entered a wrong company code, then user rejected the sales order line item, which automatically sets the deletion flag to production order tied to that sales order.
Now user wants to remove the deletion flag to production because they are costs assiciated with it.
Is there a way to remove the deletion flag to production order for MTO process?
If there is no way, what would i suggest my users to follow?
Please advice.
Thanks,
Quantum.
Dear
Now user wants to remove the deletion flag to production because they are costs assiciated with it.
Goto -CO02-Production Order Number -Select Function menu from Header -Hit Deletion Flag Option -Mark Revoke -So it will remove the deltion Falg from the Production Order .
You need to tell your user the same way as explained above so that user can perfom the same

Quantum,
I am a little surprised that your system allowed production order to be deleted when there are costs associated with production order. standard SAP system does not allow deletion flag if there are costs in production order.
Please recheck if production order really had any costs collected in production order. If no costs then system has done the right thing to insert deletion on prod order when sale order line item was rejected by Sales user.
Please provide more inpust on this. Seems a very unusual behaviour of the system.
thanks,
Ram

Quantum,
Have you tried the standard 'revoke deletion indicator' item in CO02?
CO02 > enter order number (ignore warning). Then, when the order is displayed, Select Function > deletion flag > revoke. Save.
