Insert New Lines in Sales Order - VA01

Hi,

I have a Sales Order with 25 lines , and the requirement is to insert a new line between item 4 and 5.

Is there a insert option in VA01 screen so that the new item in placed between 4 and 5 and the item number is automatically adjusted.

I can see only a create new line in VA01 screen and this add's the item as a 26th item and not as a item between 4 and 5..

Sales order document type Conig : Item no increment : 10 , Sub-Item increment : 10

Hi,

If you already have 3 item, for example as below:

10 A

20 B

30 C

You can insert item in between B and C or A and B anymore as system does not allow you to change the sales document item in the system. Furthermore there is not a require to rearrange your item also, just insert another item below the last item will do. No hassle.

Hello Colleague;

You can configure the system to have a space to 10 between the line, for example:

Item Material

10 A

20 B

30 C

40 D

So, when you want to add materil "E" for instance between material "A" and "B" you can fill the material name "E" at

fiveth position and type "15". After this, you have the follow results:

Item Material

10 A

15 E

20 B

30 C

40 D

That´s the unique form to treat you requirement. I hope it can help you.
