B1i server connection

Former Member

Hello everyone!

I have just installed B1 8.8 integration component. (PL 13)

Everthing went well, no problems during the installation, e.t.c

When I log in B1 (with B1i user or any other user) I get the following system message

"Cannot connect to B1i server. For more information see below"

"Invalid URI: The host name could not be parsed"

Licences are correctly assigned to B1i user.

Therefore I cannot open any dashboads. I have check the troubleshooting guide, I corrected the JCO connection in SLD, but the message still comes up.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello Ottó

in the cockpit tab of the general seettings you have to set the correct URI, thats what the error message is telling you

try this one for a stand alone or local Installation:

http://127.0.0.1:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/ipo/vP.001sap0004.in_HCSX/com.sap.b1i.vplatform.runtime/IN...

change 127.0.0.1 to the correct IP-adress of your server if you do not have a stand alone or local installtion

note:

the name localhost will NOT WORK !!

the <servername>:8080 may not work if DNS of the servername is not redirected corectly, so you should prefer the ip-adress instead of the servername (you also could edit your hotst file

Good luck

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to make an https connection B1if and will get exactly the same error that is above.

When I use the browser is triggered a box that asks me a username and a password. I tried entering all the passwords that I have associated with SAP and no work.

The link that gives me the error is:

http://127.0.0.1:8080/B1iXcellerator/exec/ipo/vP.001sap0004.in_HCSX/com.sap.b1i.vplatform.runtime/IN...

Does anyone know what are these credentials?

Thank you all.

if you use https instead of http you should try port 8443 instead of 8080

Sorry to crash, I'm already using the port 8443.

If you have any suggestions appreciate the help.

Hi Soraia,

with your link you directly want to access a szenario - that seems to be a webdav path.

To log into B1if you need this path (apache) https://127.0.0.1:8443/B1iXcellerator/exec/dummy/com.sap.b1ip.system.cc/bfd/AdminConsole.bfd?!defdoc...

Your path could be used in Altova xml-spy or e.g. with BitKinex

I dont think that you will get access via the browser to that webdav files (but I`m not a specialist on this)

Hi,

you may seek the solution in this following blog:

This blog is suggested in the sap note 1495563.

The detail of the note:

Functionality Description

Solution

The SAP Business One Integration component (B1ic) is available to download and use with SAP Business One 8.8 PL12 and higher.

The Installation Guide and Administrator Guide are availble in the Documenation folder of the B1ic package.

If you read these prior to installation and follow all instructions then you should not receive any errors. However if an error does occur you should refer to the B1ic troubleshooting Guide to provide you with information for troubleshooting while installing or using the SAP Business One Integration Component. Hi Jim,

Thanks for the link, I have already read it through.

In SLD i have tested B1DI and JDBC connection as well.

No error, but i still cannot see any dashboards in B1.
