Full depreciation for ten assets

Hi

I have 10 assets. These 10 assets have value as on 31st August 2010. Now i want to write off its total value. I need to write off the value (WDV) upto zero. I cannot scrap it. Because if i scrap it, it will deleted from my fixed assets. Let me know how to do this.

I tried ABMA (Manual depreciation) by putting MANU (depreciation key) into asset master. But its not allowing me to do. Please help me how to bring the value of fixed assets as zero.

Hi,

Do you mean the assets will get deleted physically, if it is scrapped ? If yes, then you are wrong. If the asset has got posted with any transactions and even the NBV is zero, It won't get deleted even if you try to delete thru AS06.

2) You can do manual depreciation only with depreciation key MANU. The other option is, you can post an unplanned depreciation (ABAA).

When i did AR01 after scrapping, my fixed asset was not shown.

As per my requirement, WDV shud be zero, but asset shud appear in AR01.

I tried MANU. But its giving error

Do i need to scrap it after putting memo value?

or which TCode i need to use
