Resource type conversion

Requirement is to convert resource type from Single mixed to Multimixed resource due to addition of machines in workcentres.

Only way to convert to multi-mixed resources is to delete all uses of a resource (PPMs, orders etc), to then completely delete the resource and recreate the resource using another type. This procedure is hardly feasible in a production environment.

Donu2019t want to go for workaround like changing utilizations to 200%,300% from 100%.

I know there is report for converting a resource from multi to mixed resource(to enable use by SNP and PPDS) as mentioned in SAP Note 629676.

Is there any similar report for addressing this ?

that oss note is only to change single to single mixed.  Or Multi to multi mixed.

How do we change single mixed to multi mixed?
