ESS working time

Hi gurus,

ESS Business Package is deployed on portal

created Z area group page in SPRO and customise in portal also.

when i click on Leave Request link blank page is displayed without any error.

do i need to do any other configuration to display.

version:- portal 7.00 sp 14,SAP_ESS 603 SP4

ECC 6.0

leave request is available as standard in BP

anyhow check the URL of pcd of the resource being assigned to your service in PTArq> homepage customisation

Have you re-deployed the ess_{lea and ess}lea~cfg to the portal and can now

see the Leave Request folder in the srvconfig.

check if you are able to preview via content manager.

are you on ehps? if yes have you done these steps

1. First you have to undeploy all the existing EhP stuffs.

2. Before deploying any EhP stuff, you have to bring it to ERP

6.0 SP 16.

3. Then deploy the BP* packages which corresponds to ERP 6.0.

4. The result is the base for deployment of EhP 3.

5. Then you can deploy all the EhP3 packages again.

It is mandatory to restart the J2EE engine after redeployment.

Hello,

I am facing the same problem right now.

I saw the reply about the solution to undeploy and then redeploy the package, but I am confused about the process of redeployment and I don't understand exactly what the steps are or exactly which component should be redeployed.

I also read the note, and I was wondering if applying it solved the problem?

Hi.

Check permission to the Objects in the portal(ACL:Access Control List) and assign the role EveryOne

Also check with HTTP Watch what is path called.

Also check this Function Module

Plz be clear your query. your saying that you have created a Z area group page in SPRO. This is fine.

Inside this Z area group page whats the PCD you have entered.

And your saying that your clicking on Leave Request. This link will be available under Working Time.

Plz be clear What exactly you want to do.

the problem is

when i chick on personal information ,who is who, change own data every thing working fine.

but when i click on leave request link in working time , a blank page is diaplayed

in log file above error is displayed.

Hi Naveen,

Immediately see the default trace log (http://portal:port/nwa) after you get the error. It may be you are getting "Access Denied" error which is commonly shown as file not found. If such is the case, provide the read permission to folder / or specific objects in Portal to the user / group / role on portal.
