Hello,

I have installed MMC on a machine where the sap is not installed and iam trying to add the systems in MMC but when i add some systems in the MMC iam getting the error " Cannot connect to sap service on. webservice error 21.the server name or address could not be resolved winhttpsendrequest failed in plugin_winhttpfsend().DCOM interface error : 800706BA.The RPC server is unavailable ".

I checked and found that the sapstartsrv process in running and everything is fine but still when i add the systems in MMC iam getting the above error for some sysems only

Can u suggest me for any possible solutions.

Hi,

See if the relevant SAP service is running, it should be something like sapsid_00 or 01 depending on

your installation.

If possible delete this service and recreate it, this should automatically create the systems in mmc.

Hi,

I found that the entry for the hostname and Ip address of the systems was missing in the host file of the laptop on which i was trying to configure the MMC.

you do not need to add systems in SAP MMC, as soon as the windows SAPSID_00 service starts, you should see it in SAPMMC.

Hi,

Firstly make sure that the entries for hosts exists in host file. Also, check if the service realted to RPC are in running state in services.msc
