Hi all,

We are abt to implement ESS through Portal .I need a good a word document guide for Implementation and configuration of ESS into Portal with Backend R/3 4.7C.I need the configurations to be done on Backend R/3 side as well for this entire activity.I suppose a lot many Experts are sitting here who have implemented this in their respective Organisations.I urgently need these details.Kindly plz provide me this guide on my Email Id reachme.saumya@gmail.com .Ur help shall be appreciated and awarded points.Thanks a lot.

Hi Somya,

You can get the guide from SDN under

SAP NetWeaver > Portal > Portal Content Portfolio.

There just search for "ess" or "ess".

Hi Yoav,

I have visited all these beginner go through links.I was actually looking out for a word document which is self prepared for documentation after completing the entire project.Iam quite confident that implementing ESS in Portal is a big project and all those who hv implemented it must hv documented all the steps along for future reference.I needed such a document which lays step wise step procedure.I couldnot find one yet but.All such responses r welcome.
