Hi,

This is also posted in BoB [http://www.forumtopics.com/busobj/viewtopic.php?p=763343#763343].

I have created a web service based on a function module in a CRM system and used the generated WDSL URL in an Xcelsius dashboard. When I select Import, I have the hour glass running and running and it never comes back :(.

If I paste the WSDL URL in IE, I get the XML, No problem. Yet, when in Xcelsius, I just have a spinng hour glass.

Searching for some help on the net, I realized that I did exactly the same as described in [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/905cda63-e79d-2c10-c297-fc1a1577780f?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true], except that my web service is in CRM and not in BI.

Any idea why I have this behavior?

Thanks a lot & Best Regards

Isabelle

Hi,

The issue is that the WSDL generated by SOAMANAGER doesn't include SOAPACTION="" and this seems mandatory by Xcelsius standard.

Please follow the post [Why SOAPACTION missing from WS generated from SOAMANAGER?|] for more details.
