CNF status updated while 261 movement.

Hi all,

I have a issue with my client. Here we have 2 plants, AAA and BBB. Now when we do 261 for a production order using MB1A for the plant AAA, the status in production order is updated only as GMPS (Goods movement posted). But we do the 261 movement for a production order in plant BBB, the status is updated as GMPS and CNF. Now this is a big trouble. How is it possible. Please say if there is any Configuration for this. I need to remove this setting. It should not update CNF when Goods movement - 261 is posted.

check once gain, are you confirmed the operation or header for that order in c011n/c015, check in co14 for that order, If you are confirm the operation with final confirmation then only status will come as CNF,

Hi,

In std. system, this is not the behavior, so it implies, there is either an enhancement or custom program or some user status which is doing this.

Additionally also check in Plant B, is the user posting the material via MB1A or the goods movement is taking place while posting confirmations. If it is while posting final confirmations, then it is quite natural that GMPS & CNF are updated together.

However if for this order there was no confirmation posted, but only a GI done via MB1A & system updates the CNF status, then check with your technical team if any enhancement / custom program which is doing this. Also can you check if there is any user status assigned to this order? If there is a user status, check thru' the details of the same in BS02.

Check the above & revert.

Check out whether backflush is activated for plant BBB. check in OPK4 ( Option - All components it might have an tick mark )

If so while doing final confirmation system will automatically sets GMPS and CNF status in production order
