Negative Asset Values are not allowed for current year asset transactions

Hi,

I am taking the assets through AS91, there are some negative assets with acquisition value in the current year.

When I go to AS91 and click on transaction tab for current year, I enter the acquision value. Though I am entering negative values, the system is only taking positive values.

Please note:

1. My depreciation area allows negative values for APC

2. In AS02 - I selected negative values allowed for the depreciation area

3. AO21 - I have selected 17 (negative values) as optional and maintained the maintenance level.

Still, I am not able to enter the negative values in the current year asset transactions for APC in AS91.

Please note that I am able to enter the negative values for the assets purchased in previous year or before in AS91. Only for the the asset transactions in the current year is having a problem.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

This is solved.

The transaction type to be taken is 101 instead of 31A or 100.
