Hi,
I want to create a new material types by the name chemical & consumable. Can anyone please suggest me which standard SAP material type should I copy this from or which standard SAP material type has the following attributes.
Thanks
Hi,
You can copy ROH & rename material type as ZCCO for chemical & consumable. If at end separate inventory required for chemical & consumable, you can create different valuation class for chemical & consumable and then create material for chemical & consumable with material type ZCCO & new valuation class for material type ZCCO.

it also depends upon the procurement like external or internal ?and a consumable can be NLAG non valuated but stockable .For stock items use ROH if it is being used as a raw material. Please eloborate your requirement like for which purpose you want to use these materials etc then a exact type will be suggested.

from your question it is under stood that you want to create a material type for a chemical whixch is a consumable, if my understanding is correct. If this is the case you can use the std types nlag OR unbw and copy to a z name say ZCC at spro--logistics general material master- basic settings
does the materials you want to create comes under Chemical indutry and of type consumables?A material created can be a chemical belongs to ROH or FERT etc .
Decide about your requirement and you can create ypur material type at spro mentioned.
