Error message coming

Hi,

I' am getting the error message 'The personnel number is locked' 5A 198 when I use RH_INSERT_INFTY function module.

I' am using the function to update P-S relation, so employee is already locked. I create 0001 infotype, then create

P-S relation for the employee. In certain cases, 5A 198 error message is coming.

Any idea why it is coming?

Hi Aravind,

Some other user may be locking the same employee using personnel maintenance transactions such as PA30, PA40, PA70/71, etc.

Due to PA-PD integration issues, employee was getting locked once again.

Hi

In first step after creating the infotype some time sys will take time to update it,untill the updating is completed then only sys will release the lock.
