Crystal Report ActiveX Designer error 80043AE3 - Invalid TLV Record

Hi,

I am using CRXI with ASP code (svr Win-2003). The code was working for a long time a suddenly face the above error when viewing the report.

Tried to uninstall and reinstall Crystal Report XI but no help.

The same is working in UAT serever but have issue with production server.

When I create a new report with out picture / image it works. If I also modify the existing report by removing all picture / image it works. But not with picture.

How to resolve it ?

I suspect either missing runtime or lack of permissons.

Use [Process Monitor|http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx] to help you out. Also, make sure you are on a supported OS:

Hi,

Still face the issu even after trying these option.

1) uninstalld CR-XI , cleaned up registry & folders manualy.

2) Granted administrators access to IIS uers for the "C:\Program Files\".

but still face the issue.

Cannot install tools on the server. but I dont know to use the process monitor ?

Process Monitor does come with help files...

All you have to do is filter for your process / app. Start the app. ProcMon will start to log from that point on. When you get the error, stop ProcMon. Study the logs produced - use the help files to guide you.
