invoice output

hi all,

there is a requirement from my client.

he wants to give customer invoice out put with respect to material.

example..

when u go to vv31 to maintain condition record for the output condition type, we see different key combinations.

in this combinations the customer wants to maintain material (only material) as one of the key combinations.

well i know that item level output is not possible for the invoice.

well this can be possible through a enhansement.

please can any one explain me step bt step solution how to go about the above requirement.

Hello Vishnu

As you rightly mentioned in SAP we cannot generate item outputs for billing documents. OSS note 432049 confirms that and also suggests you avoid using an item field for output determination on header level.

May be you create an invoice per each item, that may increase the number of billing documents.

Also take a look at OSS note 7563 which talks about item fields in a different context.
