Upgrade - error in SHADOW_IMPORT_UPG2 phase

Hi,

I am performing BI upgade from NW2004 to NW2007 EHP1 and getting error during upgrade in phase SHADOW_IMPORT_UPG2. Below is the error message and i checked one OSS note # 1462611 for the same.

I upgraded the R3trans and TP, as well as i upgraded the Kernel patch but the issue is not resolved.

There is one thread on SDN for the same and saying the same which OSS note suggested

Cause

R3trans attempted to delete an entry from a table, however the key it

required is incomplete.

System Response

The entry is not deleted, however the object is flagged as being

imported with errors and is not processed by later import steps (such

as the activation of ABAP Dictionary objects).

What to do

This problem is usually caused by a program error. Contact SAP Support.

I too got similar error message.

I posted message to SAP

But still i am waiting response from SAP.

In the meanwhile shall be grateful if you please share solution to me what SAP advise to you.

This will enable me to complete upgrade within a time frame

We haved pass trought the same error.

We open a OSS Message for this problem

The solution is look for a similar file like SAPK701TDE.<sid> and then create a file in /usr/sap/SID/upg/abap/cofiles with same name for example A701TDE.SAP contaning the following line:

K 2EETW114 table "SYSCOMP~": deletion with unspecified key not implemented.

After that you can repeat the step.

We have the same issue during upgrade, but I can't understand what you did for fixing that problem.

Could you please explaine more detailed steps for fix this problem?

Have you had OSS to look at your error ?

If its ok from OSS, you can create an allowfile to continue your upgrade

Hi,

Login to OS with SIDADM user and run the command from root and not from kernel directory.

R3trans -v

let us know the output.

Also it seems you have updated the R3trans file in EHPI folder, in EHPI you will get abap/bin folder where you have to also upgrade the R3trans .
