Business role assignment

Hi Gurus,

We have implemnted the setting suggested in SAP Note: 548202; 327908. We have made Business Role assignments to the Org position. When we create transports of these position with either RHMOV30 or 50. The business role assignment is not maintained in the target system.

Is it possible to transport the business role to position assignment to other systems (QA, prod). If Yes how?

You inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gerhard,

Thanks for your response, I forgot to mention that We are using CRM 7.0 Org structure, is the note also applicable for CRM?

Dear Sam,

transport of business roles/assignment belongs more to basic hr integration and not CRM. So this note and the follwing information should be helpful:

In transaction SOBJ -> Display -> Position PDST -> Piece list -> are

defined all inotypes that will be included in the transport request

using the report RHMOVE30.

Then check can be made with the report RHSOBJCH. Please run this report,

an you will find missing infotype 1263. Select it and run Adjust.

Afterwards this entry should be maintained in the transaction SOBJ and

the report RHMOVE30 should collect this infotype in the transport

request. Please also refer to note 442334.
