How to solve error in AFAB (Message no. AA759)

Hi. All Experts,

I am running the depreciation through planned posting run (AFAB) selected TESTRUN but I got erro log as below :-

Create document number range 37 using external number assignment

Message no. AA759

Diagnosis

Processing had to be terminated, since you set up the document number

range 37 for the year 2010 with internal number assignment.

System Response

You should create a document number range with external document numbers

for periodic depreciation posting, since the document numbers are not

assigned from Financial Accounting, but by the posting program of Asset

Accounting. The external number assignment, therefore, should not be

understood as manually entering the document number. It is only

external from the point of view of the Financial Accounting application.

Procedure

Change the number range 37 from internal to external number assignment

in Asset Accounting Customizing.

Could anyone tell me why it had this error and how to fix it.

Hi Utarat,

With regards to the error AA759, this is also caused by your customizing definition, please refer to the followings very carefully :

The number range which is named in the error message is a number range for the depreciation postings.

Please check via transaction AO71 which document type is assigned to your company code. After that you may check the document type with transaction OBA7. Her you can see the number range. The definition of the number range can be changed with transaction FBN1

.

The flag 'External' must be set for the number range for the depreciation postings.

This setting is the same for both RAPOST2000 and RABUCH00.
