Resource Menu- Training and Event Management

Hi friends;

I have a problem in Resource Menu in Training and Event Management. I want to assign the instructors I have created before to a Resource Type(of type Instructor), but I can not do it. I just have the option to create new ones. also for internal instructors I can not choose from my employees and I'm always transfered to PA40 !!!

Can any one help me and solve my problem?

Hi,

Right click on resource type and select change.

Then in Alternative Resource Search infotype select relationship as B 026 - Is held by.

Then go to PP01. For your business event type create a relationship with an already existing personnel.

When you go back to resources menu, you'll see your employee under relevant resource type.

So I must assign resource types to business event types and then resources to business events to see them in resource menu. It means that we must first manage out business events then reource menu.Am I right?

I thought that Resource Types are for categorizing resources and we use resources in our assignments. why we assign resource types to business events?

And another problem is that when I want to create a business event with resource it doesn't arrange me resources and the warning - Resource requirement is not covered by resource selection- appears!

what is the preoblem.
