CR2010 .net framework server prerequisites

Please could someone point me to a link that answers a basic quation that I am uncertain of.

Locally I have vs2010 and .net 4 framework but I develop websites for a hosted server environment that has .net 2 max so all websites are authored in vs2010 using .net2.

It is clear from the installation guide PDF that .net 4 is needed to install cr2010, and it installed fine. But I cannot find mention of the production server requirements.

Could someone give me the link please to the definition of what .net frameworks will work for reports authored in VS2010 with cr2010? If v4 is needed I will not be able to use CR (at least with my present hosting service and local authoring environment) because from reading round cr2008 cannot be used with vs2010.

thank you.

Hello,

You can take a look at the Supported Platform document for [Crystal Reports for Visual Studios 2010|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/index?rid=/library/uuid/e06b8953-a62b-2d10-38b9-ca71f747e2b1]. CR for VS2010 is supported on .NET Framework 2.0 and higher (including Service Packs).

You may find the [Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2010 Reference|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/boc/index?rid=/webcontent/uuid/d01fdad8-44e5-2d10-61ad-9d2d4158f3a8] [original link is broken]; helpful as well in pointing you to additional information about CR for VS2010.

Sincerely,

Dan Kelleher
