Hi all:
Here we have retail and we are executing an annual inventory process.
I am trying to enter the counted quantities in MI04 for my inventory documents (This is an inventory process at IM level) and there is the field "Sales value" at one side of the quantity field. Every time I enter a quantity for an article and hit enter, I get the warning message No. M7158 "There has no been found a sales price for article XXXXXXXXXX in plant XXXX", even when I enter a value in the field "Sales value".
We are working in SAP ECC 6.0
Is there any part of IMG where I can get this message off?
Thanks for any help.
Please check SAP note 84480
Regards,
Indranil

check with SE16 at table T001K whether you have sales pricing active for your valuation area.
does your material belong to a very special material type, e.g. WERT value only material?

Am I right that you are running retail system?
I have no experience with retail, but I guess that the sales price is determined using condition records. And you get this message because your system did not find a price for the material you want enter a count for.
I found this docu:
http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/en/12/085e95470311d1894a0000e8323352/frameset.htm
which explains the valuation.
further this how physical count is done in retail:
