Lock screen variant in LM00

Dear Experts,

I have a requirement to Lock the field Screen variant in LM00 with specific screen variant

Can we do so?

Any alternate solution available instead of going to development ?

Could you pls explain in little more detail.

are you restricting users for particular screen formats? or do you want to skip the initial logon screen & straightaway switch to home page of LM00? if so it can done by creating Screen Variant & assigning in LRFMD.

Hi Ramesh,

The requirement is to make the screen variant field non editable in LM00 so that the user who logs in to RF cannot change the screen variant.

Just wanted to know whether this is possible? if yes, does it have any other impacts?

We do were using that transaction, & we had maintained the variant blank with the 1 single std screen format in the config for all the users, so users were forced to use the std screen format, they dont get the popup option to change, & later switched to LM01 which is quite easy which gives home page straightaway.
