Dear All,
One of the user created substitution rule from portal and left the company .
But the substituted employee still able to see the Item behalf of the old user in his portal inbox.
How to remove the substitution rule?
We already checked the table HRUS_D2 but there is no entry available for the user.
Where to check the substitution rule availability?
Kind Regards,
Mukesh.
Hi Mukesh,
Please check the entires in Database table KMC_WF_SUBSTITUTE in Portal DB. Delete the entry against the user. This will solve your issue.
Thanks.

Hello,
Substitutions are kept in all systems, that are registered to work
with the UWL. So this needs to be done for EVERY system that the UWL is connecting to:
1. Go to System Administration->System Configuration->Universal Worklist
& Workflow->Universal Worklist - Administration and for all the R/3
systems that are registered there go and delete the records for
substitutions in all the HRUS_D2 tables connected to the deleted users
and the user that is experiencing the problem - as substituting and as
substituted users.
2. Delete all the records in the java engine's database table:
KMC_WF_SUBSTITUTE, that are connected to the deleted users and the user
that is experiencing the problem.
3. Clear the cache for all system from the Universal Worklist -
Administration.
4. Restart the engine
5. If the problem is no longer reproducible, recreate the substitution
rules for the user that is experiencing the problems using UWL's Manage
Substitution Rules. Please ensure that the connection to the backend system is working ok, as this is one of the prerequisites to substitution.
This way all the information that is stored for the problematic
substitution rule(s) should be removed and the problem should be solved.
We highly recommend that userids are disabled rather than deleted. This issue is solved in higher releases by patch implementation.

Dear Beth,
One of our users had a problem is that he cannot be able to see all the other user's sub rule that assign to him any more. Therefore he cannot work for these tasks. We tried to check if sub rules were created correctly or not. Our currenly system is CE 7.2, but there is no such a KMC_WF_SUBSTITUTE table in the j2ee engine. Please kindly let us know what else we need to do.
The UWL is BPEMUWLConnector, which is local system.
Many thanks
Lillian
