How to Copy General Authorization

Hello ,

I have 2 database with same striucture but different COA, and I want to copy the General Authorizations from one database to another. Here the SAP users are same in both the database.

Is there any way to do the copy of General Authorizations.

Pls let me know.

Hello,

There might b Copy Express Add-On in Add-On Admin, install it and start the Add-On in ur Session.

What is your B1 version and PL? Do you want to copy General Authorization for all users?

I am using SBO 8.8 PL 17.

I want to copy General authorization from one database to another for all user.

Hi Yogesh,

By Database if you mean, say database of test company to database of production company but within the same database management software such as MS SQL 2008, then you need to use Copy Express Add-on. First enable enable the add-on by installing it and then launch and assign the from and to databases and it should enable you to copy the authorizations and other artifacts such as print layouts, documents etc.

Copy Express add-on is all you need. It is an SAP add-on. You can search the forum for more information regarding this add-on.

Hi Yogesh......

You can use Copy express addon in order to copy all the authorization to the users. But you have to be sure that all the users in source DB alongwith its Identical Codes should be present in Target DB........
