pricing procedure statistical

Dear all,

If I set the freight condition in procedure as statistical yet with account key defined, why still have accounting posting during GR?

What is the purpose of statistical as I still get the accounting posting.

You can see that credit of freight clearing which is statistical in procedure, is added to stock of 10.

dr stock 1010

cr grc 1000

cr freight clearing 10

Hi

By marking the statistics field in the pricing procedure against the condition type ,the system will perform the transactions for calculation purpose but not for using the same in deriving the net value.

Check these steps are done by you

1.In the configuration of your condition type which is marked as statistical in your PRICING Procedure

in the control data 2 tab tick the check box accruals

2.Assign an account key to this Statistical condition type in your pricing procedure

3.Then in VKOA against this account key maintain the main GL account and second provisional GL account

Hi

Statistical check box its maintained only for the information purpose.

If Statistical check box is maintained against one condition type in the pricing procedure, then that condition type value will show in the PO conditions tab for the information purpose only. But it won't add in the landing / net price.

Ex:

If You have activated Statistical check box for the surcharge condition type say some XXXX.

At the time of creating PO - condition tab, system will display condition value against condition type

like surcharge condition type XXXX - 20.

But in the effective price/ total price, this amount will not included.

Basic price - 200

Freight - 20

Surcharge - 20

Total - 220

Do you mean if I flag statistical, the purchasing amount will not be affected. correct?

Say my purchasing total amount is 1000

and my freight cost is 5%, so during GR, 50 will add up to stock BUT my purchasing amount in PO still at 1000.

dr stock 1050

cr grc 1000

cr freight 50

is it correct?

Dear

The stas. key is just for calculation/information purpose only.

The statistical value will not effect on GR/IR .

In simple : statistical - it will appear on the screen but zero effect in pricing.
