Removing MS editor from smart forms

Hi all,

I need to remove the MS editor from being the default editor in smart forms

i checked the SAP note NO. 742662 but it's not working with my net weaver release (7.1 SP 7)

if there is any idea about how to change this i will be grateful

hi,

1.Run this program in SE38 : RSCPSETEDITOR and deactivate smartform or script

2.Once you are in the Editor of the Smart form, then go to menu ---> GOTO ---> Change Editor.The editor gets changes

we cannot do any modification in Production System

Hi Rajashiva

I've run the program in se38 but when opening smartforms and then open GOTO menu there is only Back option and the MS editor is always there when go back to se38 and run the program again i found the the check box smart form is back checked.

so any idea how to select another editor ?

try only step 1 in last post.. and activate

dont change smartform editor in goto

If you haven't got enough privileges to make change, you can bypass this configuration in NLS_WORD_ENABLE function. Just add break point end of this function in t-code SE37. Debugger will stop first usage of editor. Clear ex_oi_editor variable parameter.

hi,

1.Go To Transaction I18N

2.Select I18N Customization

3.Choose Ms Word as editor

4.Uncheck in Smartform there and activate it

5. Now you wont see ms editor

i have tried this transaction before but when doubl click "Ms Word as editor" this message appears :

MS Word is a default editor now. Please read SAP Note 742662.

so where i can do the 4th step you mentioned ?
