Can active old InfoSource be used for new ODS to do Init load

Helllo Gurus,

Any Input on below is highly appreciated:

If a old InfoSource iS used to feed a new ODS along with the old ones, will the init pointer need to be deleted before starting a fresh full load to the new ODS.Or can I keep the old init for old ODS and create a new INIT for the new ODS?

Instead, better you use <b>"Repair full Request"</b> which wont distrub anything.

Hi Simmi,

You can load a full load to new ODS without disturbing the Init for the infosource. But soppose you want to load deltas, then yoy have to delete the init flag for the infosource and then only use for init loads. So the steps will be

1. Delete the init flag

2. Load a Init to ODS New

3. Delete the init flag again

4. Load a init without data transfer for both ODS
