Release order against contract 4600000063 not possible

1. P.O and Contract releasing producer is same ??

2.i already set the p.o release procedure ..( i have to set the new contract release procedure???

3. in release group i already maintain the release code ... but if i want to set new group it gives error "" Please check release classes (see long text) """ for that i deleted old release group and maintain the new one ... it is not possible to maintain the new rel. group with out deleting old one ??

Hi,

it is possible to use only the same

class for POs and Contracts in release strategy customizing.

believe that the

solution for your case could be defining a couple of settings:

1) Defining a different group for each strategy

2) In the classification of the strategies, please set the fields empty

- CEKKO-KTWRT (Cumulative Planned Value) for PO

- CEKKO-GNETW (Total net order value) for contract

Hi,

You need have only one release class for both PO & Contract but you need to have two different release groups for PO & Contract.

For Example:

Rel Group.........Release Object.................Class...................Description

CO........................2..................................ZCEKKO.....................CONTRACT RELEASE

PO........................2..................................ZCEKKO.....................PO RELEASE

NOTE:

If you want differentiate , you can have a release characteristic for purchasing document category with CEKKO- BSTYP and then add this release characteristic with other release characteristics under release class ZCEKKO .Purchasing document category for Contract is K and for PO is F and then design release strategy for PO & Contract with other character value.
