RTE=TSDIVI means RTE=TSDIVI (Total number of planned hours in a period)

RTE-TSDIVP means RTE-TSDIVP Total number of planned hours in a period from table V_510H ( flat rate )

RTE*KGENAU means Multiplying with constant GENAU (V_T511K)

RTE/TSDIVP means ( planned working hours per period- flat working hours per period )/( flat hours per period )

Hi,

XPPF rule will take care of the employee promotion as per standard requirement, if you have additional requirement on basic pay change(promotion- if employee got hike), then you have to change the XPPF rule according to ur requirement.

there u have to change the condition as per your requirement. If you have two splits in the month in 0008IT, system will read this rule XPPF.

come to explnation on your rule:

Could you know is rule working? If yes, can i know the process?

RTE=TSDIVI means RTE=TSDIVI (Total number of planned hours in a period)

RTE-TSDIVP means RTE-TSDIVP Total number of planned hours in a period from table V_510H ( flat rate )

RTE*KGENAU means Multiplying with constant GENAU (V_T511K)

RTE/TSDIVP means ( planned working hours per period- flat working hours per period )/( flat hours per period )

For ex:

RTE=TSDIVI Set - RTE=200

RTE-TSDIVP Subtraction -

200- 190

RTEKGENAU Multiplication---101,00,000

RTE/TSDIVP Division --- 10,00,000/190

ADDWT * OT Output table= 5263

in this case where r u using 5263 factor value. Just curiosity to know this process.

RTE*KGENAU means Multiplying with constant GENAU (V_T511K) - 100,000.00

What this means in constant table

GENAU constant is using to make factoring an accurate one

In india Payroll: In INP1(XPPF in case of international payroll) PCR the RTE multiplying with GENAU constant , and In PCR XVAL which is using the factor (RTE) that is calculated through INP1 here the amount is divided by the same GENAU

Please go through PCR XVAL

Hello Devi,

I read your post as detailed above. How do I change the XPPF rule according to my requirement?

My scenario is that organizational change action was carried out for an employee who moved from a temp role (01.01.2011 - 14.01.2011) to a permanent role (15.01.2011 - 31.01.2011). His salary also changed so we executed change in pay action for the employee. I was expecting the system to pro-rate both salaries, i.e. giving him half of the first salary and half of the second salary but the system is giving him full salary for both positions.

Please how do I adjust rule XPPF to accommodate this scenario?

Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Regards
