Dears,
We have recently migrated from BO 6.5 to WEB INTELLIGENCE RICH CLIENT,
I can login to through the client to the universes but when I am refreshing a template it is giving below error:
*A database error occurred,The database error text is:*
*ct_connect(): network packet later: internal net library error:*
*Net-Lib protocol driver call to connect two endpoints failed (OS Error: Failed to connect ro the server - Error is 10061 No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.)*
*(WIS 10901)*
could you please help to find what is the problem?

The problem solved,
The firewall was blocking database connection,

Also try switching off any security software on the server. If this fixes the issue, you'll need to add Business Objects to the exception list.

What kind of database are you trying to connect to?
Is there a firewall running on your database server?
