triggering a workflow using an MRP run

Hi folks,

I have requirement of triggering a workflow for a MRP run , but until now I have become successful only in triggering a workflow through manual creation of purchase requisition based on the release strategy ,however the workflow is not triggered when PRs are created through MRP run ,I have read the sap note 67866 but it says it is not possible to trigger workflow ,can any one suggest some workaround .
