I have also tried by selecting Closed check box in Quanities/Dates tab...

Hi,

If need to restrict PO creation with more than PR Quantity and need to set error message follow path :

SPRO>Materials Management>Purchasing->Environment Data->Define Attributes of System Messages>system message

06 076

Set the message no : 06 076 as Error message & save.

Now, when all the PR quantity already converts to PO, system will not allow to create a another PO from that same PR.

If it still does not work, then see SAP note 315448

Hi

Just convert the Warning Message no : SE 721 "Requisition already converted into purchase order & &" into error message

Path :

SPRO>Materials Management>Purchasing->Environment Data->Define Attributes of System Messages>system message

If you need Configure the System Message

06076 - "Materials of requisition & item & alr. ordered in full" as error message

06400 - "Materials/services for requisition & & already ordered with & &"

Use Transaction SE91 and check the Message

Message Class-- 06 and ME, select Message and add number 076/249 and click on display.... these are the standard messages in SAP.

And activate as explained byothers.

What is the release of your SAP system?

You can try to add messages from trx OBMSG and OBA5 respectively

Dear All,

SE 721 "Requisition already converted into purchase order & &" is already into error message only

My system is Ecc 6.0

How to create Messages on SE91 T.code it is asking for package which package i have to save?

in subobjects under messages option number there is no 076/249 messages

In OBMSG i have given App area- 06, Msg No- 076, 249 i have saved (not given desc no field to give desc)

how to solve this?
