Hi Experts,

A Portal Runtime Error is occuring on our Production. I'm getting two logs with the same corresponding Message ID in NWA Monitoring TraceLog.

Content pass of Application Integrator failed.
Component Name: 'com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap.WebDynpro',
Context Name (iView): 'pcd:portal_content/de.xyzcompany.content/de.xyzcompany.roles/de.xyzcompany.XYZROLE/de.xyzcompany.workset_areagrp_ess/de.xyzcompany.workset_area_worktime/de.xyzcompany.wda_cats_rep1/de.xyzcompany.wda_cats_rep1',
Top Layer: 'WebDynpro/TopLayer',
Producer ID (FPN): 'null',
System Alias: 'SAP_ECC_HumanResources',

The error occurs when a user wants to display a certain iview in Portal. I tried previewing the said iview in Portal Content Directory as Administrator, it didn't work either.

- The Service in Backend (WD4A) is set correctly.

- The System Alias is set correctly.

- JCO is supposedly set correctly.

The last thing that was changed on productive Portal was the Transport of the role XYZROLE. Could it be something went wrong here?

I'm still busy finding out if this error is new or occured before the Transport.

Please help if you ever had a similar problem or know what could be the problem here!

regards, Lukas

checked the note 842635.

Into "System Admin -> System Config -> System Landscape -> Portal

Content"

for example please check

What are the enteries you have maintained in the Web AS property of the

system object ?

It should point to your ECC system.

for example we follow the steps

1. From sld Create a ABAP system

2. Add a new system under System Administration/System

Configuration/SystemLanscape called SD1CLNT100 by the template ( Sap

system from connection string.

3. configured the object

4. create system allias with the name SD1CLNT100

5. upload the certificate from portal and added to SD1

Hi Siddarth...

Everything you described was set correctly. In my desparation I looked through everything DB-wise, Systemwise and JCO-wise on our PROD together with our basis team. We found a nearly invisible typo in the System ID configuration publishing a wrong alias name (which was caused by the consultant who set the machine up six years ago...). This issue is fixed now.. I do have another problem now but I'll open a new thread for this..

best regards... Lukas

Trying to make this better readable with less information... (code-function doesnt work for above posting)....

- Custom iView/ROLE implemented in ESS, works on DEV, works on QS, doesn't work on PROD

1. com.sapportals.portal.prt.component.PortalComponentException: Error in service call of Portal Component

2. com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.PortalRuntimeException: Exception in SAP Application Integrator occured: Unable to parse template

what I especially don't like with this one is this information:

'<System.Access.WAS.protocol>://<System.Access.WAS.hostname>/sap/bc/webdynpro/<WebDynproNamespace>/<WebDynproApplication>/;sap-ext-sid=<ESID[url_ENCODE]>?sap-ep-iviewhandle=007<ESID[HASH]>&sap-wd-configId=<WebDynproConfiguration>&sap-ep-iviewid=<IView.ShortID>&sap-ep-pcdunit=<IView.PCDUnit.ShortID>&sap-client=<System.client>&sap-language=<Request.Language>&sap-accessibility=<User.Accessibility[SAP_BOOL]>&sap-rtl=<LAF.RightToLeft[SAP_BOOL]>&sap-ep-version=<Portal.Version[url_ENCODE]>&sap-wd-tstamp=<$TimeStamp>&<FPNInfo[IF_false PROCESS_RECURSIVE]>&sap-explanation=<User.Explanation[SAP_BOOL]>&<StylesheetIntegration[IF_true PROCESS_RECURSIVE]>&<Authentication>&<DynamicParameter[PARAMETER_MAPPING PROCESS_RECURSIVE]>&<ForwardParameters[QUERYSTRING]>&<ApplicationParameter[PROCESS_RECURSIVE]>'

the problem occured at position 310. Cannot process expression <System.client> because Invalid System Attribute: System: 'SAP_LocalSystem', Attribute: 'client&#39

How can this raise the error if it's actually supposed to be the same on all machines and it does work on two of them.

regards, Lukas
