Dear Experts,

In COEP table- i will get primary as well as secondary posting on cost center and Production order etc

but in

COSS- i will get only secondary posting

COSP-i will get primary posting

COEP=COSP+COSS?

If i need to design report of production during the month and their cost component breakup.which table i will use COEP or COSS+COSP

same way need to transfer Cost center data from SAP to biw and want to do some allocation In biw.Which table i will suggest to BIW COEP or COSS+COSP

regards

RR

Hi Raman

COEP is line item table....

COSP: For External Postings (Target/Plan/Actual)

COSS: For Internal Postings (Target/Plan/Actual)

COSPD (Actual only): Settlement entries i.e. GR and GI upon confirmation, for Primary cost elements

COSSD (Actual only): Settlment entries i.e. activity confirmation

I would prefer COS* tables over COEP

In BW, once you extract the data, carry out the allocation there.. Then you dont have dependancy on the Tables

Hi

Take one prod or process order and analyse these tables

You will get more clarity

The Prod order no will be stored in the field OBJNR as ORXXXX0000000YYYYYYYYY, where XXXX = Contr Area and YYYYYYY = Prod order No prefixed with zeroes

Hi,

COEP contains line items whereas COSP and COSS are summarized tables. So if COSP/COSS is contains sufficient information for your report take them, the performance should be much better as taking the figures from COEP.
