Hello,
I am receiving an error during the installation of a Distributed SAP IDES system. I am trying to install ABAP with ERP 6.0 EHP4 with Oralce 11g.

My Fixes :
Error 13 (Permission denied) - I have tried several things with this first error, CHMOD 777 on this tnsnames.ora file and folders. This file is located to the local machine and still i have hit this permission denied error.
LSNRCTL STATUS - This status is working I can start and stop the lisnter with no issues.
I have COMPLETELY wiped out and redone this installation and I continue to get this same error. I believe that the installation files have incorrect parameters in the file syuxcpath.cpp on line 675 however i have been unable to find the location and check to see if there is a null space at the line for tnsnamesOraTemplate. But i am no expert, any help or direction is much appreciated. Will provide any additional logs if needed.

Durning the installation somehow i copied all the installation data without giving the proper permissions. So I changed all the permissions to the installation files and the installation completed without issues. Thanks for this input.

A couple of years later I am facing the same problem.. but I don't understand what are the installation files for you? The swpm folder, the export, kernel? And what permissions did you gave, if you remember? I hope you can give me answer because i have tried all the possible options I could think of. Thank you.

Hello,
Please check whether the file:
/sapinst/xx_product_Installation_Master/Linux etc/
COMMON/INSTALL/ORA/TNSNAMES.ORA
is present and fully readable for both <sid>adm and ora<sid> user.
