IW31 -Order Type not populating correctly

Hi All,

When i navigate using the below path

Plant Maintenance - > Maintenance Prcoessing -> ORder -> IW31 Create. I want order type to populate as PM01

When i navigate using the below path

Customer Service -> Service Processing ->ORder -> Service Order -> IW31 Create. I want order type to populate as SM01.

I thought it is a standard functionality, but it is not working as expected. It is always showing the initial screen with previously

used value in the order type.

Hi,

No, it does not default the order type in the way you expect.

Order type will be blank or filled based on last used order type. You can set a default for each user as follows:

- Enter transaction IW31 or IW32 (go past initial scren)

- Select menu option: Extras - Settings - Default values

- Specify a default in 'order type' field

This value will now default when first using IW31 (per session). The last used order type will still be filled when calling IW31 again.
