Subcontracting PO

Dear All ,

When i create a subcontracting PO & give save it gives the error message Number range IB for object not defined .

Pls find below the error message & Pls suggest me with the solution

Number range IB for object not defined

Message no. 06220

Diagnosis

The number range IB for the document number you entered has not been defined for purchasing documents.

IB is for Physical Inventory Document maintain physical inventory doc num range in IMG. System prompting error as you may have activated phy inv for the component items.

The number range is missing for your doucment type for subcontrating PO (IB). Once the same is maintained vide SPRO -- IMG -- Materials Management --- Purchasing -- Purchase order -- Define number range for IB, you would be able to go ahead with your transaction.

Hi,

For your subcontract PO Document Type ,see which Number Range number is assigned to this (I think that would be IB).

Maintain the number range for the IB in OMH6.

Hope this will solve your query.
