Assets Error -Line item Schema SAP_RET_RU0 is not defined

Hi Gurus,

When the user is trying to change the asset class as it was posted to the wrong account, and tried to use transaction ABUMN.

After filling in all the details and tried to simulte the posting, system issues the following error:

*Line item Schema SAP_RET_RU0 is not defined*

Would you please advice where do we create the line item schema and do we assign it to asset class?

Regards, Anil

Hi,

The error AC598 occurred due to missing customizing for Russia companies.

When you performed transaction ABUMN for a Russian company, the system will check in table T093H for the line schema. In this case, the line schema SAP_RET_RUO is selected for transaction type 230.

If there are missing customizings, the error AC598 will be raised.

SAP delivers only examples for country-specific line item schemas. You should create your own line item schema.

1.Maintain line item schemas and assignments using transaction SM34 view VC_TA1MZ01.

2.For Russia SAP delivers only the following example schemas. It's examples, for your situation you should create your own schemas.

SAP_RU_200_001

SAP_RU_200_002

3.Assign transaction types to the schema tr. SM30, view V_T093H, assign cross-system areas to transaction types and line item schemas.

4.Assign Russia to the line item schema using transaction SM34 a VC_T093H01.

5.Set up in tr. SPRO 'Automatic Intercompany Asset Transfers' -> Define cross-system depreciation areas.

Here create cross-system depreciation areas with the same names as depreciation areas of your chart of depreciation.

Relevant note: 411833.

I hope this helps you.

Best Regards,

Vanessa.
