Hi All,
Our smtp server is failing to connect and deliver emails with the reports. We get the following error
server error. [CrystalEnterprise.Smtp]: [Error Initializing SMTP server. Return code: [TCP open failed]. Reason:[hostname.domainname.org:25].]
the host name and domain name have been masked for security purposes but having said that, we recently changed the suffix of our email system. We are assuming we need to make that change as well within the smtp server so the connection is established and then delivers it successfuly with the new suffix.
Can anyone reply with steps on how to reconfigure the smtp server destination names?

Hi,
Well BO side you need to configure the settings in Destination Job server under SMTP . and same under the respective job servers, for SMTP server settings you may need to work with SMTP Server admin to fix it up.
