i want to do some customization for service po.........how do i go about it

Hi,

Create a document type ZSNB by copying NB and have separate number range and keep Field Selection Key for service PO PT9F.

Create service master as per your requirement.

create service PO ref to item category D with service master and process further process.

THANKS BUT I MEAN I WANT TO CREATE A NEW ORDER TYPE (SERVICE PO) COS THE PLANT IS A NEW PLANT AND THIS HAPPENS TO BE THE FIRST TIME WE ARE GOING TO USE A SERVICE ORDER WHICH HAS NOT BEEN CREATED IN THE CUSTOMIZATION

there is no need of any special customization for service PO. r u aware abt service process?

use D as a item category during PO and do ML81n for SES as a GR.

if u want to use different doc. type, then create new doc.type and assign the number range .
