Regarding ME2O transaction

Hi All,

this is regarding - Multiple deliveries creation issue when using ME2O transaction.

When using ME20 transaction to create SubCpn deliveries, SAP is creating multipl deliveries but it should create one.

Message is about "delivery that cannot be met"...we are not delivering...so this shouldn't be a problem.

Could you please let me know what is the root cause of this issue and how it will be resolve?

Please check, whether the material is batch managed,if so it will happen.

Hi,

Please also check that the materials that are being shipped are from the same material type.

We also had this kind of issue and it turns out that when you are shipping materials that belong to different material types the system splits up the deliveries.

I have checked the material type for all components and material type is also same for all components. (Its a subcontracting PO so, in ME2O transaction all componets are displayed).

I would like to ask you please let me know once again where to check the materials that are being shipped are from the same material type?

Are you selecting all the materials at the same time to create the delivery or one at a time? You should select them all at once and only click "Create Delivery" once.

Check your delivery split criteria - it will give you insight as to what the issue could be.

Hi,

The material type can be checked in table mara.

Since material type is defined at client level the material type is valid for all applications and all plants where this material is used.

Is it possible to create Purchase Requisition to procure material from different storage location within same plant (Internal Procurement between Storage Location to Storage location within same plant?

Hi,

Yes, I am selecing all materials at a time and then I clicked on "Create Delivery" tab. And I have checked the material type for all material and its same for all.

Note: Its a subcontracting process and

Its showing information log as - "Delivery date can not be met, forword schedulling to delivery date 15.0....

Is it happend because of this information log? Please suggest me.

Are you creating delivery for a single Vendor or Multiple Vendor??

Are you issuing the Materials from one warehouse or different warehouse?

if the shipping point is different then the delivery will be created per shipping point.

Please give more information.

Yes, we are creating deliveries for single vendor with same warehouse and same shipping point.
