Expert routine transport

Hi Experts,

To transport an expert routine, does it mean I need to transport the transformation and there will be 3 routines tied to the transport request?

I activated a transformation and tied it to a transport request and in se09, i see that the request contains routines. Since expert routines do not have start or end routines, where do the routines found in transport request come from?

Hi John,

I guess originally this transformation had start or field routines and then later it got converted to expert routine. Hence you see the additional routines along with this transformation.

For transporting expert routine, you need to transport the transformation along with the routines ( no harm in including the old routines ).

Hi John,

You are right, for transporting Export routine you will have to send complete transformation and in TR you will have routines along with main transformation.
