Hello,

we are using a BOE 4.0 installation. I want to access to da BW cube that was prepared for this scenario. Since our first approach only refers to demo data that we loaded using flat files.

Now we are facing the following problem:

When I use the Information Design Tool to create a new OLAP connection with type BICS connection for SAP NetWeaver BW we cannot find our InfoArea. Other InforAreas are displayed without any problems. They can also be used for Interactive Analysis.

What might be the reason for our problem, do we have to set specific options in SAP BW for the special InfoArea?

Hi André, maybe could be privileges problem. Review the rights of SAP BW user which tries to connect.

There are some useful tutorials under that space, for example http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-44834

Generally speaking, any Universe (UNV or UNX) can be indexed for using in BO Explorer.
