Hi Nitin,

Please adjust your value category customizing according to the following

settings:

1) In transaction CJVC, all yellow and/or red lights have to eliminated

by assigning each cost element/commitment item/statistical key figure

according to the following rules:

1.1) Each cost element/commitment item/statistical key figure should

be assigned to a value category, EVEN if its values should NOT

be updated to table Project Information Database, table RPSCO.

In this case please create an assignment to a value category

and activate its 'suppress' indicator. All values basing on an

assignment to this value category won't be updated to RPSCO.

1.2) Each cost element/commitment item/stat. key figure has to be

assigned exactly once to a value category. Assigning them to

more or less than one value category will lead to unpredictable

results.

1.3) Only

1.3.1) cost elements of the same cost element type,

1.3.2) commitment items of the same item category and

1.3.3) statistical key figures of the same unit of measure

and the same KF category are allowed to be assigned to

one value category. Mixed assignments will lead to

unpredictable results, like mixing costs and revenues in

columns or rows.

2) If all yellow and/or red lights in transaction CJVC are eliminated,

please rebuild the Project Information Database (table RPSCO) by

transaction CJEN. Without this, changes from 1.1)-1.3) won't have

any effect.

3) Please rebuild the assigned values by transaction CJBN.

Could you also review notes 51971, 327081, 676123?

Kind regards,

Enrique

Hi,

In S_ALR_87013558 Actual value : 44 lacs but in CJI3 it is showing 7.6

crore for the same project. Before doing settlement both CJI3 & S_ALR_87013558 actual value

was 7.4 crore. What could be the reason.

In RPSCO value type 11 shows 75,735,507.54 INR(WLP15)

When we go through CJI3 there are two value type i.e. 4 & 11 for the same

project.

Value type 4 shows 76,022,237.24 INR whereas value type 11 shows

4,203,128.32INR in CJI3.

Before doing settlement CJI3 & S_ALR_870135558 shows same value, but

after settlement it shows different value. It is obersved that difference between CJI3 & S_ALR_87013558 occur only after running CJ88 settlement.

Why the actual value for particularly two projects( where we use special stock )are

changing in s_alr_87013558 report only after doing settlement ?-

This problem occur only for 2 project & for other projects Hierarchy & Line Item Report matching

Thanks & Regards,

Nitin

Hi Nitin,

Report S_ALR_87013558 only shows the project actual cost whereas CJI3 and other reports (S_ALR_87013542) also include the settled cost as well. Kindly verify the actual cost being displayed by the system in other standard reports like S_ALR_87013542.

Usually CJI3 shows all line items including settlement line items (you can verify this via the Business Transaction type KOAO). A possible reason for the variance in the two reports could be these additional line items. Try developing a variant in CJI3 that filters (i.e. excludes) business transaction KOAO and now verify the reports.

Also as mentioned by you, Transaction Type 4 is for actual cost and 11 is for secondary cost. You may need to drill down further in CJI3 in order to determine the origins of such costs and whether they are also causing the variance.
