You need to execute the Year end report W2 for the Tax company level in PU19 which the employee's are mapped, this you can identify from the IMG setting in Payroll USA
> Tax>Tax companies > Assign Tax companies to Personnel area. So the value for the employee will be under the tax company when payroll is executed. Reporting date is the field is the end date for the quarter or year for W2 it will be 31-Dec-2011 for the year 2011, Consider payroll date is "as of Date" ie till which date you want consider the payroll result for the current year, this is usefull when you have retro payresult difference or you do adjustment in the payroll.
