BOMMAT should not be send when highest level material flagged for deletion.

We are working with SAP ECC6.

When a material of a BOM (highest level material) is flagged for deletion it is still possible to change the BOM. Via change pointers and automatic setup, the BOMMAT IDOC is created and send.

We don't want to send the BOMMAT automatically when the highest level material is flagged for deletion (in the MARA or MARC table, field LVORM).

We are working with the SAP standard to send the BOMMAT.

Anyone any idea how to handle this? (enhancement, user-exit, not possible in standard SAP, ....)

Thanks, Ann Michiels.

The use transaction BD30 to send BOMMAT sometimes for all BOM's. Also when materials are having a deletion flag, the BOM's are send. How can we avoid this? Thanks.
