Hello All,
Am performing the system preparation steps in solution manager 7.1...
Here while am running the Initial configuration step, it is showing an error as,
"AGS_SISE_SET_CTC_STATUS: RFC NO AUTHORITY"
Can anyone help me out?
Thank You,
Regards,
Hasan
Hello Hasan,
assigning a copy of the role SAP_S_RFCACL (save and generate profile first) to your user (e.g. SOLMAN_ADMIN) might help. Please be aware to which users you give this critical authorization.
Hope this helps, Basti

I am having the same error as mentioned in the post. I added SAP_S_RFCACL role to SOLMAN_ADMIN account but i am still getting the same error.
Is there anything else that I am missing here?
Thanks.

Hello!
I had this problem while implementing 7.1 in my test systems. It seems to a bug with the Initial Shipment version.
As you may have noticed, the 7.1 shipped is st SP0. Probably this is fixed with the newer versions.

RECOMMENDATION:
May I recommend you to move to SP03 before proceeding with the setup. Go to the Market Place and use the Link to SP Stack to calculate what you need to go to SP03.

Let's move on to the solution, no mather which SP you are:
What I did to overcome it (I didn't upgrade to SP03 yet, so you can follow it), is to use the instructions in note 1170859 and create the a new role called ZSAP_SOLMANDIAG_E2E_DIFF with the following authorizations, grant it to SOLMAN_ADMIN user and generate its profile:
Object S_RFC_ADM (Administration for RFC Destination)
Activity Extended maintenance
Internet Communication Framework *
Logical Destination (Specified) SOLMANDIAG,WEBADMIN
Type of Entry in RFCDES Start External Program Using TCP/IP

Guilherme

Hi Hasan,
When this error occuers , pls check Tcode SU53 which givies missing authorization object details.
Might be below authorization is missing from object S_RFC.
Funcation group : ERFC , ARFC, SYST
