Deleting risks in RM 10

Hello,

I have created several risks as well as analysis for these risks to test functionality in a GRC Risk Management 10 playpen client.

After this, I deleted the risks from the Risk Assessment work centre but see that even though the they are not in the list of risks in the Risk Assessment section they show up in the risk reporting section (including the Heat Map). How can I delete all traces of this risk data?

Thanks

Donald

Hi Donald,

By this time your problem might have been resolved. Try my suggestions if not yet. Note that: Risk cannot be deleted once they are associated to a organization and you do an analysis. Because at that point of time the risks were there for the respective organizations. So for the same reason even if you delete the risk in Risk and opportunities powl also, they'll appear in the Heat Map. If the system is a test one and you know the Object ID for the Risk you can try the below. Delete the object ID in the HRP1852, HRP1001, HRP1000 tables. You should do it in the same order I mentioned here. Because you need to delete the relationships with other objects first and finally the Risk. Create a Zreport to delete this data. Please be aware that doing so may create inconsistency in your system. So I'll never recommend to perform this activity in your Prod system.

Good luck.

Hi Guru,

Thanks for the reponse. I was able to delete those old risks by running report RHRHDL00 and selecting the risk objects.

Hi Donald,

Great to hear that your issue has been resolved and thanks for sharing the report name you used. I was not aware about this report.

Thanks,

Guru
